Our church was founded over 50 years ago by a group of primarily Eastern European immigrants under the leadership of founding pastor, Rev. Anthony Czubkowski. After meeting for some time in borrowed facilities, the fledgling congregation was able to purchase a building, formerly a law office, on the corner of Main Street and Banta Ave.
Initially, the services were held in the converted existing building. As God blessed and the church grew, it became apparent that new facilities would be needed. The congregants rallied together and raised the money to demolish the old building and erect our present edifice on the same property. The new church building was dedicated at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in 1969.
Since that time, the church congregation has undergone many changes. The founding pastor was succeeded by his son, Rev. John H. Czubkowski in January 1987. The services continue to be multi-cultural, now reflecting the surrounding community with families representing Hispanic, European, African, Asian, and American cultures. Worship services include music of a contemporary style, and preaching is fresh, vibrant, and relevant. The power of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by signs and wonders. One thing has NEVER changed over the years - our church desires to show the love of God to our community.
